'Baba Ka Dhaba' owner Kanta Prasad attempted suicide a few days back and was admitted to Delhi's Safdarjung hospital. Delhi police investigation has revealed that YouTuber Gaurav Wasan and his wife transferred Rs 4.5 lakh to the Dhaba owner's account only after he filed a complaint against him. A few days ago, a video of the owner apologizing to Wasan went viral on the internet.
Monetary support on 'Baba Ka Dhaba' owner Kanta Prasad and his wife Badami Devi poured in from all across the country, all thanks to a YouTuber Gaurav Wasan. However, the 80-year-old owner later accused Wasan of misappropriating the money by carrying out transactions in the latter's bank account. Well now, the latest viral clip doing rounds on the internet shows Kanta Prasad with folded hands seeking an apology.
A small-time eatery owner Kanta Prasad aka Baba shot to fame overnight last year after a YouTuber named Gaurav Wasan featured Baba's struggles on his Youtube channel. Baba opened a new restaurant but it could not pick any significant business following which it shut down around four months ago. This forced Baba to return back to his old food joint.
Golden Baba has a group of his own consisting of around 250-300 men and basic facilities like food, water and ambulance are always available during his Kanwar Yatra.
