Trailblazers defeated Supernovas in the first game of Women's T20 Challenge in Jaipur.

In response to Trailblazers' 140 for five, Supernovas ended agonisingly short at 138 for six as Harmanpreet and Sophie Devine (32 off 22) took the game deep with a 48-run stand for the fifth wicket.

Smriti Mandhana, who has been vice-captain for two years, will don the captain's hat in the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur in the T20I series against England.
