Latest update: Woman's right side paralysed after attack inside Bangalore ATM

Bangalore: With the assailant still roaming free in Bangalore after brutally attacking a woman inside an ATM kiosk, doctors at the BGS Global Hospital today said, the victim's right side has beencompletely paralysed and she may take at least two months to recover.






Dr N K Venkatramana, chief neuro surgeon and vice chairman of BGS Global Hospital said, the victim Jyothi was admitted to hospital with injuries on her head, nose and cheed.

CT scans showed multiple fracturer on skill, bones had been dislocated, one bone pierced and went inside the brain.

"We performed a surgery and the skull was repaired and the piece of bone was taken out. Plastic surgeries have been done on her face and nose", Dr Venkatramana said.

"She has paralysis on her right side due to injury to her brain, and it will take two months to recover. When brain gets directly injured, there is possibility of contamination inside the brain and that's why we are taking care of her", said Dr Venkatramana.
