Few code words that were used inside the ashram were:

To get a new girl ready  for Narayan Sai –“Lal Tilak laga liya hai” (She's sported a red tilak)
To get previous sadhak girls ready - “Chandan ka tilak laga liya hai” (She's sported a chandan tilak)
To choose a new girl – “Bhagwan ka bhog taiyar ho gaaya hai' (Bhagwan's dish is ready)
To keep girl in ashram -“ Tilak Mitne na Paaye –Munh mat dhona” (Don't wash the face, the tilak must remain)
