The Kaziranga National Park in Assam recorded less wildlife causality this year so far, said Forest Minister of the state, Parimal Suklabaidya.

A Rhino was seen resting near National Highway 37 at Bagori Range yesterday (July 17) after it strayed out to Bandar Dhubi. Officials guided it back to the park.
Forest officials on July 15 successfully tranqulised and rescued a tigress that had strayed out of the flood-affected Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR).
Due to floods, 80% of Kaziranga National Park is submerged in water. So far 66 animals have died in the floods and 170 have been rescued.
