Bikaner and Phalodi recorded 45.4 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature in Ganganagar, Sawaimadhopur, Pilani, Kota recorded 45, 43.7, 43.1 and 42.2 degrees, respectively, according to MeT Department.
The polling will continue till 6:00 pm today. Counting will be held on May 2.

This is the second-highest maximum temperature recorded in Churu district in the month of May in the last 10 years. The district had recorded a high of 50.2 degrees Celsius on May 19, 2016, according to the MeT department here.
The heatwave continued in parts of Rajasthan on Friday, even though there was slight drop in temperature compared to Thursday, a MeT official said.
