Reports have recently emerged that Brazilian forward Neymar has asked to come back to Camp Nou, while also linking the 26-year old to arch-rivals Real Madrid for a 400 Million Euros. Neymar left FC Barcelona last year for a world record move of 222 Million Euros to Paris Saint Germain and the Brazilian's time at the Parc des Princes hasn't exactly become the dreamland he was hoping it would be.
Despite performing brilliantly well with the French giants, the 26-year old has been cribbing a lot more lately and recently with the injury he suffered against Marseille, Neymar will be out of action until May.
As media reports suggest, Neymar has sent the Catalan giants messages about the possibility of a return to the Camp Nou after he left the Blaugrana to achieve individual success with the French giants.
FC Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has ruled out the possibility of resigning Neymar from PSG who has a bumper release clause of 400 Million Euros.
The reports did become a huge topic of conversation at the Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said that Neymar's bumper clause is been talked about quite frequently with the management.
Valverde, who has led FC Barcelona to the top of the table since the start of the season, are the only club in Europe to go undefeated and are eight points clear of second place Atletico Madrid in the La Liga.
"It seems like a fantasy to me," Valverde said when asked about the chance Neymar could return. "We don't know where it's come from or where it's going to end. We aren't going to talk about suppositions."
As media reports suggest, the Brazilian forward reached out to the Barcelona players and executives and said that he regrets joining PSG and requested a transfer back to the Camp Nou in the summer of 2019.
Apparently, this contact was made when PSG were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 by Real Madrid.
The move to Madrid becomes more prominent for the Brazilian as the Los Blancos are willing to shatter the world record fee to sign the PSG winger for 400 Million Euros.
The wounds at Camp Nou are still fresh after Neymar's departure to the Parc des Princes but it has been the MS of the MSN (Messi, Suarez & Neymar) who have taken Spain by storm with their form at the moment. Barcelona recently defeated Atletico Madrid with Messi scoring the lone winner at Camp Nou.
FC Barcelona are still waiting to get the best out of their signings, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho where the former arrived from Borussia Dortmund for 105 Million Euros and the latter from Liverpool in the winter window for a club record fee of 120 Million Euros.
As media reports suggest, French sensation Antoine Griezman may as well be on his way to the Camp Nou after reports suggested that a deal has been agreed by FC Barcelona to join the Atletico forward for a fee of 100 Million Euros. With the Catalan giants bolstering their attack, there just doesn't seem to be any place for Neymar in the Barcelona squad from here on.
