The Union Health Ministry, in its latest set of guidelines, has dropped the use of Ivermectin, HCQ, Favipiravir from COVID-19 treatment. There is also no mention to take steam for the cure of COVID. However, guidelines have suggested a 6-minute walk test to Covid infected patients.
The apex Court has asked the petitioner to serve an advanced copy to respondents including Centre, CBSE and ICSE. The next hearing on the case will be on Monday, May 31, 2021.

The Supreme Court bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and MR Shah pointed out that the coury was there to find fault amid the pandemic, but stressed that it was important to ensure oxygen supply for Delhi.
Pointing that the Supreme Court was assured by SG Tushar Mehta that Delhi will not suffer, the high court said that this assurance has not been fulfilled as "small and large nursing homes and individuals are running to us".
The Supreme Court has urged Centre and State governments to consider imposing a ban on mass gatherings and super spreader events. They may also consider imposing a lockdown to curb the virus in the second wave in the interest of public welfare.
