Madrid: Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale Wednesday ruled himself out of a big money move to Manchester United.

Bale, 25, was questioned about his future in the light of persistent rumours of interest from the English club, which is thought to be willing to pay over 100 million euros for the Welshman's services, reports Xinhua.

"I can't imagine myself at Manchester United. I'm really happy here," he said.

"I've got several years left on my contract, I'm enjoying, we're winning trophies and I want to keep doing that here at Real."

Bale said one of the reasons he wanted to stay was that despite being booed in a recent game for choosing to shoot rather than pass to teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, he enjoyed the atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

"I feel support and affection from the Santiago Bernabeu crowd. I want to keep working hard to hopefully be able to show them what I'm capable of on the pitch and win as many trophies as possible," he commented.

Real Madrid won the Champions League and World Club Championship in 2014. They currently lead the La Liga and are favourites to win the Champions League again despite a slight dip in form in the new year.

Bale said that teamwork was one of the main factors for the club's recent success.

"The reason we've won so many trophies is that everyone works together. Everyone performs to an extremely high level, both in training sessions and in matches," he said.
