Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal turned 29 today (March 17) and social media was flooded with wishes for the ace player. People from the sports fraternity didn't hold back and wished the Commonwealth Games 2018 gold medalist with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also being one of them. Tendulkar wished Saina a quick recovery as a few days back the badminton star revealed that she is being diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis with mild pancreatitis.
Earlier, Saina took to Instagram and shared the news of her disease with her fans on social media.
She posted: "So some sad news. I was really going through acute stomach pain from last Monday. I managed to play few matches in All England with lot of pain and decided to skip Swiss Open and come back to India and find out the issue and I found out it's Acute Gastroenteritis with mild pancreatitis and the doctors have recommended me to get admitted and hopefully I recover soon out of it."
