The couple took to Twitter to announce their relationship and social media has melted ever since.
Kohli and Anushka's spokesperson had made many announcements of their future plans from after their wedding, starting from having a reception in Mumbai.
The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair.
The pace bowling quartet includes Hyderabad's Mohammad Siraj, Madhya Pradesh's Avesh Khan, Navdeep Saini of Delhi and Kerala's yorker specialist Basil Thampi.
Manoj Tiwary's men will meet multiple-time champions Delhi in the semifinals in Pune, while title favourites Karnataka will take on Vidarbha in the other last-four match, to be played in Kolkata.
Rashid Khan and Mohammed Nabi also became the first two Afghanistan cricketers to be bought at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction earlier this year.
Delhi rode on skipper Gautam Gambhir's valiant 95 to chase down MP's modest target of 217 at the ACA Cricket Ground in Vijayawada.
This will be the first time that the coveted event will be completely held in India: on three occasions previously, India hosted the World Cup partially (1987, 1996 and 2011).
While no official reason has been given for cancellation of the tour game, the change in schedule means that India will straightway head into the opening Test in Cape Town from January 5.
