Sir M Visvesvaraya Railway Terminal in Bengaluru is India’s first centrally air-conditioned railway station.
This station is named after the Bharat Ratna recipient Sir M Visvesvaraya who served as a civil engineer and was also the Diwan of Mysore.

The airport-like terminal has a VIP lounge, a waiting hall,, a passenger information system and a food court. It can accommodate 50,000 people daily.
