Gujiya: Holi is incomplete without Gujia for many, a traditional Holi-special delicacy; this sweet dish is made from thickened milk and dry fruits coated with dough, then deep fried.
Puran Poli: This is a Maharashtrian sweet dish prepared on special occasion, also popular in states like Gujarat, Goa and Andhra Pradesh. The dish is sweet flattened bread and made using jaggery and wheat flour along with other spices and condiments.
Thandai: This is a Rajasthani speciality and you must-have while you drench yourself in various colors. It is prepared with concoction of milk, dry fruits and saffron and is usually served to guests during holi.
Malpua: Like Puran Poli, Malpuas are also a sweet dish that is best eaten steaming hot. It is prepared with flour and sugar syrup and is best served with rabri.
Nolen Gur Rossogolla: In Bengal Holi is known as Dol Purnima wnjoyed with herbal colours. This sweet is made up of jaggery, which is in a liquid form, is boiled and the syrup is used to make these rosogollas.
Dahi Wada: This chaat is prepared by soaking fitters made from lentil, chickpea flour soaked in thick yogurt and served with chutney.

Shakkar paare: Shakarpara is a sweet snack prepared to offer to guests. It is easy to munch on and tastes delicious too. It is prepared with dough and sugar mixed and deep fried.
