Bigg Boss 11 fame actress Hina Khan and actor Sharad Malhotra, while speaking at India TV's mega conclave TV Ka Dum, opened up about their television journey. Hina, who was the first runner-up of the reality TV show Bigg Boss 11, spoke about the impact of television on people's lives.
Taking about her initial days, Hina said that she started her acting career with the TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and that she was part of the show for quite a long time. She revealed that people often used to ask her to quit the show as, according to them, it will typecast her as a 'bahu'. However, she took it as a challenge and continued to work.
She said that it was her conscious decision to do different shows. Later, she worked in varieties of TV shows, including reality shows. Hina revealed that people started accepting her in different genres and she was happy for it. Hina also said that it is important to keep experimenting.
Meanwhile, TV actor Sharad, talking about his television journey, said that he started his journey on the small screen in 2006. He also revealed that he never knew that he will become an actor but always had a passion to do something exciting.
Sharad said that in his initial acting days he also wanted to become Shah Rukh Khan and wanted to do films.

Now looking at his journey, Sharad said he is proud of what he has done so far. Sharad said that he would like to thank people for helping him grow in his television journey.
