Actor Sanjay Dutt reaches Yerawada jail

Dutt said he had pain in his legs, and appealed to fans for his early release. He also thanked the media for accepting his request to allow his private moments with his family during his parole period.

The actor was released on a fortnight-long medical parole from prison on October 1 where he is serving the remainder of his 42-month-long sentence.

Later, he sought and was granted another fortnight's extension which ended on Monday.  Dutt will observe  Diwali inside the jail with other inmates.
