External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has proved her wit time and again. This morning too she had a candid reply for a Twitter user who questioned her 'Chowkidar' prefix.
A Twitter user asked Swaraj on the social networking site as to why she called herself Chowkidar. This comes after many ministers of the Modi government, including her, prefixed 'Chowkidar' in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' campaign.
'Ma'am, we thought you were our Foreign Minister. The only one most sensible in BJP. Why do you call yourself Chowkidar," he said in his tweet.
To this, Swaraj responded: "Because I am doing Chowkidari of Indian interests and Indian nationals abroad."
Often known for her personal engagement with the social networking audience, Swaraj has been a popular face among the masses when it comes to displaying wit and humour.
