This will be the PWD's second big road infrastructure project that will be thrown open to the public this year. In April, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had inaugurated the underpass at the Ashram intersection in south Delhi.
Barring some finishing touches, the Public Works Department (PWD) has finalised the construction work of the underpass, they said.
FNG expressway connecting Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad might soon be a reality that will add to commuters' convenience. The expressway will be 56 km long with an 11 km 6-lane underpass at Noida-Greater Noida expressway.
The Rs 285 crore underpass project, finalised by the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government, was awarded to Gawar Construction in September 2016.
