Two fishermen drowned after a fishing boat capsized in the Arabian Sea off Mangaluru coast on Dec 01. 16 fishermen have been rescued while four are still missing.
At least five people were killed after two boats capsized in West Bengal on Monday. According to the police, the incident was reported from Murshidabad in the state, where two country boats capsized in a water body.

The Indian Navy has also been roped in to assist in the search operation off Karwar bridge in Kali River.
Altogether 36 persons have been rescued so far, and are admitted to a local hospital, an official said.
Pawar was an activist of Shiv Sangram Paksha, an organisation monitoring the construction of the Shivaji statue which is coming up on an island in the Arabian sea.
One of the vessels- the Phoenix PC Diving ship was carrying 105 passengers, including Thai crew members, tourist guides and 93 tourists, many of them Chinese holidaymakers.
"The causes of the sinking and the number of people missing are not yet known. The provincial government has already sent a team there to find out more," Mboyo was reported as saying by AFP.
