Google launched its Pixel 8a smartphone in India on May 7. Just a week after its launch, the smartphone is available for sale in the country. Interested buyers can avail Rs 13,000 discount on the purchase of the smartphone.

Google recently launched the Pixel 8a smartphone in India. The smartphone is a powerful addition to the Pixel 8 series. The Pixel 8a offers top-notch features similar to the Pixel 8 but at a significantly lower price. The smartphone is now available for purchase in the country, with the first sale taking place on the e-commerce website Flipkart. During the first sale, Google is offering attractive discounts to interested buyers. Here are all the details you need to know. 

Google Pixel 8a India price and offers

The Google Pixel 8a is available in four colours: Aloe, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain. The device is offered with 8GB of RAM and two different storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 52,999, and the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for Rs 59,999.

Interested buyers using an ICICI Bank credit card can avail an instant discount of Rs 3,000. Moreover, the company is providing exchange offers, allowing customers to save up to Rs 9,000 by trading in their old phones. This means that customers can purchase the latest Google phone for Rs 13000 less.

Google Pixel 8a specifications 

The Google Pixel 8a is equipped with the Tensor G3 processor and Titan M2 security coprocessor, along with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 14 and promises seven years of software and security updates, including quarterly Pixel Feature Drops for new software features.

The phone features a flat 6.1-inch Super Actua display with an OLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz, protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera at the back, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

It packs a 4,492mAh battery and supports 18W wired fast charging and 7.5W wireless charging (Qi charging standard). It has a refreshed design with a glass screen, polycarbonate rear panels, and an aluminium frame, similar to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, and maintains its IP67 certification from the Pixel 7a.

The phone offers communication standards such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and support for GPS navigation systems. It has space for one physical SIM card and one virtual eSIM and features an in-display fingerprint reader or face unlock for security.
