OnePlus has unveiled its new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition at an event that took place in the UK. The main highlight of the new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is 10GB RAM and 30 watt Warp Charge 30 that promises 50 per cent charge in just 20 minutes of charge. The company has used a new Integrated Circuit, both in the phone and charger that comes with a finely tuned power management software that aids in not generating excessive heat.
In terms of design, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with a glossy glass finish that comes with orange reflection at its edges, as orange is the signature colour of McLaren. The pattern used underneath the glass back of the phone is based on McLaren’s groundbreaking carbon fiber.
"The signature McLaren color, Papaya Orange races around the bottom edge of the device before fading into the black. The pattern underneath the glass back of the phone is based on McLaren's groundbreaking carbon fiber, the technology at the heart of all McLaren cars since 1981 when it was introduced to the Formula 1 car design, before being integrated into McLaren road cars in 1993. While light streaks across the McLaren logo, illuminating and disappearing in an instant. The Warp Charge 30 power unit includes a Papaya Orange braided cord cable," said a OnePlus spokesperson.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is almost the same, as the regular one but gets 10GB RAM/256GB storage. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be going on sale in the US and Western Europe from 13th December and will be priced at 649 pounds (Rs 58,855 approx.).
