Asus ZenFone 5Z has started receiving a new software update on the smartphone. The new update brings Android Security patch along with improved sound quality as well as enhanced startup speed. The update will be rolling out in India in a phased manner. The update carries out a firmware version of 220.127.116.11 and users will be able to update manually by simply going to the phone Settings, followed with About and System Update.
Looking back at the Asus ZenFone 5Z specs, the phone comes with a dual-SIM and sports a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2246 pixels) Super IPS+ display. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with Adreno 630 GPU with up to 8GB RAM. It features a dual rear camera setup that features a 12 Megapixel Sony IMX363 primary camera along with a secondary 8 Megapixel OmniVision 8856 sensor with fixed focus, f/2.2 aperture, and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. On the front is an 8 Megapixel fixed focus OmniVision 8856 sensor. It houses a 3300mAh battery under the hood and comes with Quick Charge 3.0 with 18W charger.
The Asus ZenFone 5Z recently got a price cut and starts at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB and goes till Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM+256GB storage configuration.
