Melbourne, Australia, Jan 19 : Defending champion Novak Djokovic came back from an early service break to win eight straight games on his way to a 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 second-round victory Thursday over Santiago Giraldo at the Australian Open.
The top-seeded Djokovic added Wimbledon and the U.S. Open titles last year to his win at Melbourne Park. His only loss at a major in 2011 came in the French Open semifinals to Roger Federer.
