Bali, Indonesia, Nov 5: Serbia's Ana Ivanovic reached the final of Tournament of Champions after defeating Nadia Petrova of Russia 6-1, 7-5 on Saturday.
The defending champion blitzed through the first set twice breaking Petrova's serve.
Both players struggled to hold serve in the second set, but Ivanovic secured a crucial break in the 11th game to go ahead 6-5 and then held serve to progress to the final for the second straight year.
Ivanovic will play the winner of Saturday's other semifinal between Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues and third seed Sabine Lisicki of Germany on Sunday.
