Barcelona, Jul 17: Lionel Messi says he is relaxed about solving his tax problems that created a media storm just as he was preparing for the Confederations Cup and also about the arrival of Brazil star Neymar at Barcelona.
Speaking after training on Wednesday, Messi said "I'm very relaxed." He said he was at a distance from financial matters.
Messi and his father Jorge have been ordered by a Spanish court to appear before a judge in September over allegations that they defrauded the Spanish tax office of 4 million euros ($5.3 million).
Messi said Neymar was "a great player" who will have no problem adapting to Barcelona.
He said Neymar was the type of player who can unsettle opponents in one-on-one situations, and off the field he was "a good guy."
