New Delhi: The skipper of Indian cricket team and the co-owner of ISL franchise Chennaiyin FC Mahendra Singh Dhoni congratulated his team after their 2-1 victory in an away-game against FC Goa on Wednesday.
Dhoni, who is also passionate for football took the mirco-blogging site twitter to send his best wishes for the team.
He also congratulated Balwant Singh for becoming the first Indian to score in ISL.
Dhoni, who co-owns the Chennaiyin Football Club (Chennai FC), along with Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, played their first match against FC Goa, one of whose owners is Virat Kohli at the Nehru Stadium, Fatorda in Goa.
The Chennai team also has an exciting list of players with former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre, Colombian striker John Stiven Mendoza and Jairo Carvajal, Brazilian Elano Blumer, French players Gennaro Bracigliano and Bernard Mendy, Spaniards Eduardo Silva and Cristian Gonzales, Serbia's Bojan Djordjic.
While they also have the Italian World Cup Champion Marco Materazzi as a marquee player and as a manager too.
