Melbourne: Australian all-rounder Cameron White has decided to shift loyalty from Victoria Bushrangers to his Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore for the next month's Champions League Twenty20 to be held in South Africa.

Victorian captain White will now join star South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis and New Zealander Ross Taylor in the Vijay Mallya-owned side, while David Hussey was expected to lead the Australian team in the multi-million dollar event.

The Bangalore-based side will give a compensatory fee of USD 200,000 to Victoria for the trouble, Australian Associated Press (AAP) reported on Wednesday.

Kallis (Warriors) and Taylor (Central Stags) will also find themselves playing against their home teams.

In the inaugural Champions League in India last year, the Victorians had made to the semi-final before going down to the eventual champion New South Wales (NSW).

Meanwhile, South Australia, another team from the Down Under to qualify for the show-piece event, will send a depleted squad after failing to secure the service of overseas stars West Indian Kieron Pollard (Mumbai Indians) and Shahid Afridi of Pakistan.

"The teams named for this year's CLT20 would compete with and arguably defeat many of the nations playing international cricket today," said Tournament Chairman and BCCI President Shashank Manohar.

"The squad lists read like a who's who of world cricket with some of the brightest emerging stars and some of the greatest names to have graced the game," he added.

The 10-team competition is run jointly by the cricket boards of India, Australia and South Africa.

Squads:

Victoria: David Hussey, Ryan Carters, Aaron Finch, Shane Harwood, John Hastings, Brad Hodge, Andrew McDonald, Bryce McGain, Clint McKay, Glenn Maxwell, Dirk Nannes, James Pattison, Rob Quiney, Peter Siddle, Matthew Wade.

South Australia: Cullen Bailey, Daniel Harris, Graham Manou, Daniel Christian, Gary Putland, Peter George, Callum Ferguson, Michael Klinger, Jake Haberfield, Tim Ludeman, Shaun Tait, Tom Cooper, Chris Duval, Cameron Borgas, Aaron O'Brien, Cullen Bailey.
