New Delhi: In 1953, a cricket match took place between the Prime Minister's XI and the President's XI teams in Delhi.
The spectators saw a thoughtful looking Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, wearing a spotless white cricket kit, padded up and sitting with his chin resting on his cricket bat.
In fact, he was playing for the Prime Minister's XI cricket team.
