Team India is unchanged in the fifth ODI against Australia in Guwahati on Sunday morning, though Australia has brought in Mitchell Johnson in place of Bell Hilfenhaus.
Indian skipper M S Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat on a surface with moisture. Dhoni said, the pitch would become slower after half an hour and might help the spinners.
Dhoni admitted the remaining two matches were knockout games for India, but he pointed out that India had done well in the past when pushed to the wall.
Ponting said he too would have opted to bat had we won the toss.
