JOHANNESBURG (AP) _ South Africa says it will honor its series against Pakistan later this year, unless instructed otherwise by the International Cricket Council.

Cricket South Africa released a statement Monday saying it "has received numerous queries" regarding the status of the series in the United Arab Emirates beginning Oct. 27.

CSA chief executive Gerald Majola says "the tour of Pakistan is part of the ICC Future Tours' program, which we have to honor, unless instructed otherwise by the International Cricket Council. As such, the tour will go ahead as planned."

CSA says it won't comment on the current fixing scandal surrounding the England-Pakistan series.

South Africa will play Pakistan in two Twenty20 internationals, five one-dayers and two tests.  AP
