Lahore, May 10: Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-haq has stepped down as the skipper of Twenty20 team.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Zaka Ashraf said at a press conference that Mohammed Hafeez will take over as captain from Misbah.
Misbah had captained Pakistan in eight games. His last Twenty20 assignment was the three-match series against England in the UAE in February, which England won 2-1.
