Bihar Election Phase 1: Voters, including high-profile leaders, turn out in large numbers

In the first phase of the Bihar elections, a total of 3.75 crore voters will decide the electoral fate of 1,314 candidates, including top leaders such as Tejashwi Yadav and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary of the BJP.

A total of 42.31 per cent of 3.75 crore voters exercised their franchise in the first two hours of polling till 11 am. Begusarai recorded the highest polling percentage so far at 46.02, followed by Bhojpur (41.15) and Buxar (1.10).
