The Mewar Dynasty of Udaipur has long stood as a symbol of Rajput pride, bravery, and legacy. Known for legendary rulers like Maharana Pratap, who famously resisted the Mughal forces during the Battle of Haldighati in 1576, the dynasty continues to hold a significant place in Indian history. Today, His Royal Highness Arvind Singh Mewar serves as the 76th custodian of the House of Mewar. He leads the HRH Group of Hotels, which operates over 10 heritage hotels, including iconic properties like the Lake Palace and Fateh Prakash Palace, some of which are managed by the Taj Group of Hotels.
