At Udta Punjab’s success party, all the team did was smile!

  • New Delhi: Of late movie ‘Udta Punjab’ has been on top of everybody’s gossip list. The movie created controversy after it ran into a battle with the Central Board of Film Certification. The board alleged that the movie puts Punjab in bad light, but the makers managed to get a green signal from the Bombay High Court. The court ordered the movie’s release with just one cut.
 
Well, all’s well that ends well. The movie was released on June 17th and it earned Rs 10 crores on the first day. The producers said the best response was from northern parts of India, especially Punjab and Delhi. The makers are definitely elated after such a response.
