Located in the Time Warner Center just off of Columbus Circle, this temple of artisan sushi is presided over by Chef Masayoshi Takayama who has no problem serving you what tastes like one of the world's seven wonder indulgences. One dish is top-grade fatty bluefin tuna tartare smothered in a dollop of osetra caviar. This little taste of heaven will set you back $450 for the prix fixe dinner, and that's excluding tax, tip and something to drink. A meal for two can easily be a $1,500 hit.
