1. PM Modi to arrive in Russia to attend BRICS, SCO summits

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today arrive on a three-day visit to attend the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summits, on the sidelines of which he is likely to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

2. All India Mahila Congress to hold two day National Council meeting

Two day National Council meeting of All India Mahila Congress will start today from 12 Noon onwards at AICC Headquarters.  Jairam Ramesh will address on land acquisition, Randeep Surjewala on communication and Laxmi Narayan Tripathi on transgender issue.  

Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi will address on the last day.

3. Amit Shah's two-day Maharashtra visit

BJP President Amit Shah will be on a two-day tour of Maharashtra from today to take stock of the party's 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan', launched to strengthen the organisation.

4. BJP to discuss election preparations in Bihar

The Bhartiya Janata Party will today hold a crucial meeting to discuss the election preparations in Bihar.

Anant Kumar, Dharmendra Pradhan and other important leaders will participate in the meeting.

5. Suresh Prabhu to inaugurate projects

New Delhi: Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu will today inaugurate various Projects from Conference Hall, Rail Bhawan.

Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha will be especially present on the occasion.

Paperless Unreserved Mobile Ticketing at Mumbai/ WR (through video conferencing with Mumbai), SMS Alerts for arrival of Train at destination station (Rajdhani) and Hindi version of E-ticketing are the projects to be inaugurated by the Railway minister.

6. Ex-servicemen to hold protest demanding OROP

Ex army servicemen will today hold a protest march from Military Station at Bathinda on demanding One Rank One Pension (OROP).
