Tirupati, Nov 25: As many as 162 precious stones, including diamonds, wrapped in a velvet pouch was found in the hundi of Lord venkateswara at Tirumala tirupati Devasthanam on Wednesday, officials said.
The pouch, containing high quality precious stones of different sizes, are valued at around Rs 1.5 crore.
The staff at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam found this pouch containing diamonds when they emptied the hunto for counting the daily collections on Wednesday.
