Two others—Marcus Marandi (13) and Dula Murmu (22) -- died in Khota village while an 18-year-old youth died due to similar reasons in Kasiyatikar village.
Three persons, identified as Laxman Yadav (25), a tractor driver, died after bing hit by lightning in Khaira village in Jamui district, they said, adding two women identified as Murkhi Devi (60) and Krishna Tanti (30) died due to similar reasons in Gopalpur village of the same district.
In Supaul district, a private school principal Kailash Yadav and Umesh Mukhiya were killed and six others injured after lighting struck them in the school premises in a village under Bairo panchayat.
