'Who wants to leave the important post of CM. But my soul did not allow me to continue on the post, so I gave my resignation. Tell me what mistake have I done by doing this,' he said.
'Even a peon does not want to leave his job. Leaving the CM's post is a big thing. For leaving a CM's post, one needs a strong heart and not a 56-inch chest,' Kejriwal said, a comment apparently directed at Modi.
Accompanied by party leaders Sanjay Singh, Alka Lamba and others, Kejriwal held more than half a dozen public meetings yesterday.
Condemning an incident yesterday when a crowd gathered around him here and shouted slogans in favour of Narendra Modi, Kejriwal claimed that stones were also pelted by the BJP supporters.
Local police, however, has denied any stone pelting.
