A SpiceJet technician lost his life in a freak accident at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport in Kolkata.
The technician named Rohit Bhushan Pandey was carrying out maintenance work on Q400 aircraft at the NSCBI airport. He got stuck in the main landing gear door and accidentally it closed on him.
Fire brigade reached the spot and removed his body from the landing gear. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation will carry out an inquiry into the accident, the official said.
