Chapra: At least 6 people were injured today in a bomb blast carried by a woman in Bihar’s Saran district, police said.

This is the second bomb blast in the court premises in Bihar within two months.

The incident took place at a high security area when prisoners were brought in for legal proceedings.

Three suspects including a woman identified as Khushbu Kumari had allegedly come with a bomb in the court premise with an intention to target a complainant in a case but it went off accidentally, injuring her seriously, said Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar Raj.

The lady has been rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), the SP said, adding that two other women including a minor girl also suffered injuries in the incident.
