Dil Mill Gaye actor Karan Paranjpe passes away at 26
TV actor Karan Paranjpe who appeared in TV serial Dil Mill Gaye passed away on Sunday. He was just 26. He essayed the role of Jignesh in the popular show, which also starred Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget. As per the Tellychakkar.com report, he was found dead at his residence at around 11 am on Sunday. His mother found his body. The reason behind his death is still unknown. Pinkvilla report states that he suffered a heart attack in his sleep. Karan was a single child to his parents. He is survived by a mother who is shattered by the sudden death of her only son.
Karan Paranjpe’s co-star Karan Wahi expressed his grief over his death. He wrote, “You will be missed JIGS.”
Bepannaah actor and his friend Sehban Azim also expressed sadness over Karan Paranjape's untimely death. He shared a throwback picture with Karan on Instagram and wrote, "Gone too soon my friend! May your soul rest in peace. You will always be remembered."
A source from the production of Dil Mill Gaye told a leading daily, "He was a fun-loving guy. After his short stint in acting, he moved towards working with a music channel, where he was working on a talk show with celebs. He was doing quite well for himself. The news of the death has come as a shock to all of us. While we were not in constant touch, once you work with someone, you do form a close bond. This was definitely not an age for him to leave.”
The actual cause behind his death hasn't been revealed so far.
Paranjape was also famous for his role in medical drama Sanjeevani, which shot Karan Singh Grover and Shilpa Anand to fame. Going by his Instagram profile, he was also a producer and a host for popular music and entertainment channel B4U. His Instagram is full of pictures of himself with several Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Neha Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh.
