A 32-year-old man who is employed with a cab company, gets arrested for allegedly stalking TV producer Ekta Kapoor for the past few months. As per a leading daily report, Sudhir Rajender Singh had been stalking Ekta Kapoor for more than 30 times and followed her to temple and her gym. He wanted to befriend her and land a job in her firm Balaji Telefilms. Sudhir was arrested soon after Ekta Kapoor’s company filed a legal complaint against him.
A police offer told Hindustan Times, “We received a complaint saying Kapoor had repeatedly tried to ignore the man, but he kept following her across the city." "The most recent instance took place a few days ago when Kapoor had gone to a temple in Juhu. Singh followed her and tried to approach her, but was stopped by Kapoor’s security guards.”
Despite getting multiple warnings from Ekta Kapoor’s guards, Sudhir Singh used to wait for the producer outside her gym. The Amboli police station has filed an FIR against him. The officer said, “We used technical surveillance to track him down to Veera Desai Road. During interrogation, we found out the number of times he had followed her."
The police also checked Sudhir’s phone to understand how he got the details about Ekta Kapoor. They added, “We need to find out how he got information about Kapoor’s whereabouts and schedule. We will submit a charge sheet soon."
