Amid the controversy around the first promo from Yash's Toxic titled 'Introducing Raya', the makers have unveiled a new poster of the Kannada superstar. Along with it, they announced that the film's teaser will be released tomorrow. The film is produced by KVN Productions, the same house backing Thalapathy Vijay's much-delayed film, Jana Nayagan.

The teaser for Yash's Toxic will release tomorrow, February 20, 2026, at 9.35 am. In the poster, the Kannada superstar is seen standing on a snowy ground, filled with blood. The actor was seen drinking from a bottle. Take a look at the same here:
Toxic lands in controversy with the Christian community
Just weeks before its scheduled theatrical release, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has found itself in the middle of a fresh controversy. The Yash-starrer, which had already been building strong anticipation, has been facing objections from a Christian organisation over alleged religious insensitivity. The National Christian Federation has written to the government and film authorities, asking them to step in before the film reaches cinemas. The group has claimed that certain scenes in the film portray religious imagery in a way that hurts Christian sentiments.
At the centre of the complaint is the depiction of Saint Michael, considered one of the most important archangels in Christianity. According to the federation, some visuals allegedly present Saint Michael in an “offensive” manner. The complaint also mentions that explicit scenes were filmed in front of imagery associated with the saint. The organisation has said that these visuals have caused distress among members of the Christian community. Pradeep Kumar, President of the federation, has urged authorities to make sure the disputed scenes are removed before the film releases in theatres.
What is the federation demanding?
In its letter, the federation has listed specific demands. It has called for the removal of the scenes being objected to, along with the takedown of promotional material and online videos that include those visuals. The organisation has also asked for a public apology from the filmmakers. It has said that legal action could be considered if the concerns are not addressed. For now, the group is waiting for a response from both the filmmakers and the concerned authorities.
Toxic will release in exactly a month from now - March 19, clashing with Dhurandhar Part 2 at the box office.
