Los Angeles: Marvel Studios has confirmed that actor Vin Diesel will lend his voice for the giant tree character, Groot, in the upcoming superhero film "Guardians of the Galaxy".
Directed by James Gunn, "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be released by Disney Aug 1, 2014, reports variety.com.
Others, who will do voiceover in the film, are Zoe Saldana for Gamora, Dave Bautista for Drax and Bradley Cooper for Rocket Racoon.
Diesel has previously done voiceover for several video games.
