Los Angeles, Feb 24: Actor Sylvester Stallone's mother Jackie has been hospitalised after suffering a heart attack.
Jackie, 91, is expected to undergo a heart surgery soon. Her husband Stephen Levine, who is also a doctor, said: "She is stable right now and recovering. She will probably have an angioplasty operation next week," reports thesun.co.uk.
Her family and friends are hoping for the best.
"She suffered a heart attack a few days ago and is in hospital near her home in Santa Monica, California. It was very scary for the family and everyone is very worried about her," a source said.
"But she's a fighter so we have high hopes for her recovery," the source added.
Stallone's 36-year-old son Sage also died following a heart attack in July last year.
