When Govinda walked 19-km to take dance lessons from Saroj Khan

Bollywood actor Govinda, known for his dance and expressions, is one of the most loved stars of B-town. The actor’s love for dancing is known to all. Govinda, recently appeared at Madhuri Dixit's reality show Dance Deewane and shared his story of how dance has always been his first love. Furthermore, the Partner actor also revealed the struggles he faced and how his Guru and choreographer Saroj Khan helped him in his struggling days. 

"Dance has always been my first love. It brings a different energy in me. When I was a kid I still remember that I used to walk 19 kilometers a day, as my class was very far from my home. I didn't have enough money back then to travel by a private vehicle, but my love for dance kept me going. Seeing this deep affection Saroj Khan, my Guru, didn't charge me a single penny”, Govinda was quoted as saying in the reality show.

On the work front, Govinda will play embattled business tycoon Vijay Mallya in a film directed by former CFBC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani. "I have made a movie inspired by the life of Vijay Mallya, and Govinda is in the main lead, audiences will be surprised to see his new avatar. The movie will be completely entertaining," Mr Nihalani told news agency ANI. 

Earlier this month, it was reported that the film is titled Rangeela Raja. Vijay Mallya, 62, the founder of Kingfisher Airlines, is wanted in India over fraud and money-laundering charges amounting to around Rs. 9,000 crore. A court in London is hearing the case and latest reports suggest that he would be regarded as a 'fugitive from justice.' He left India in 2016
