On the occasion of him turning 35, let’s have a brief throwback to Ranbir Kapoor’s witty answers in Aap Ki Adalat.
Answering to one of the questions, Ranbir Kapoor expressed how he was typecasted as the ‘Chocolate Boy’ of Bollywood, which he hated to the core. When his movie Saawariya came out, there’s no doubt that Ranbir was hailed as a ‘cute actor’ of present-day Indian cinema. He never understood the concept of being a chocolate boy, citing that he never tasted like a chocolate or looked like one. He was desperate to break the glass ceiling and do something outside his comfort zone. That’s how ended up signing Rockstar, the film which reshaped his journey in Bollywood. Ranbir also played an off-beat character in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos, which released earlier this year.
