'Always and forever', Priyanka Chopra posts a heart-melting video on her father's birth anniversary

Priyanka Chopra's father Dr. Ashok Chopra lost a prolonged battle with cancer in 2013.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra remembered her father in her latest social media post. The 36-year-old actress marked her father Dr. Ashok Chopra's death anniversary with a small video. The clip has throwback pictures of her father and some precious family moments. Priyanka lost her father to cancer in 2013.

The actress shared a video along with a caption, ''Dad. U r so missed. Happy birthday. Always and forever.'' In 2016, the actress in an interview with The Hindustan Times said that she still can't believe that her father is no more. ''His death has been a big blow. I still haven’t dealt with it. I don’t know if I’ve healed, but it doesn’t hurt either. I don’t think I have accepted it. I feel like I’m travelling all over the world, and dad will be home when I return. I think grief becomes your constant companion. You just learn to live with it," she said.

Priyanka was recently in buzz due to her engagement with American singer Nick Jonas. The actress threw a bash at her residence in Juhu inviting her all close pals of Bollywood. Reportedly, Nick popped the question to PeeCee on her 36th birthday on 18 July.

Currently, Priyanka is busy shooting for her upcoming Bollywood project, The Sky is Pink. The Shonali Bose directorial also stars Farhan Akhtar and Dangal fame Zaira Wasim. Earlier, PeeCee signed Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat starring Salman Khan but unfortunately, the actress had to quit it due to her engagement. This reportedly miffed Salman and Priyanka was later replaced with Katrina Kaif.
