Malaika Arora opens up about son Arhaan's reaction to her divorce with Arbaaz Khan
Malaika Arora and actor-director Arbaaz Khan got married in 1998 and ended their marriage May 11, 2017. Arbaaz and Malaika always remained tight-lipped about the reason of their separation. But recently the ex-couple opened about it.
Earlier in an interview with ZoomTV.com, Arbaaz said, "People would love to make certain things with lot of adjustments and compromises or scenarios and make it look like it is perfect in anything whether it is your career, whether it is your relationship whether it is your marriage, we want to believe that we can make it. But, I don't know if you ask even the ones who are living that life wouldn't they want something better or could've expected more, maybe yes. Human beings would still want (more) and you also have people who say I couldn't have asked for a better woman or a better wife, I am so happy. Yes, those scenarios also exist."
And now Malaika opened up on her unhappy marraige, divorce and more on Kareena Kapoor Khan's radio show. She even opened up on her son Arhaan Khan's reaction to her divorce with Arbaaz.
She said "I would want to see my child in a happy environment than be subjected to an environment that is completely disruptive. With time, my child is far more accepting and far more happy. He can see that we both as individuals are far more happy than what we were in our marriage."
She further said, "He did actually turn around one day and he did say that to me, 'Mom, it's good to see you happy and smiling'."
