Viral Video: Elated mother Nita Ambani dances on Sridevi’s song ‘Navrai Majhi’ on Isha Ambani’s engagement
Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani threw a lavish party at their plush residence Antilla in Mumbai for their daughter Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal. Isha and Anand got engaged over the weekend. The celebrations were joined by Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor among others. On the happy occasion, elated mother Nita Ambani couldn’t stop herself from grooving to the tunes of late actress Sridevi’s popular song ‘Navrai Maajhi’.
The video was posted by Nita Ambani’s fan page on Instagram. It shows ever-radiant Nita Ambani expressing her joy with her impeccable dance moves on the popular Bollywood dance number. The happiness of seeing her daughter marrying the love of her life, is evident on her face.
For the uninitiated, Nita Ambani is a learned Bharata Natyam dancer and even performed frequently during her earlier days.
It was one star-studded affair where Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji attended the event to congratulate the couple.
Mukesh Ambani's younger brother Anil Ambani along with his wife Tine Ambani was also seen attending the party. The wedding is likely to take place in December this year.
Anand, son of Swati and Ajay Piramal, is the founder of Piramal Realty, one of India's most admired real estate companies. He proposed marriage to Isha Ambani at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. They celebrated the occasion with a lunch, joined by their parents Ambanis and Piramals.
